August/September: Orientation Day
High schools typically welcome new students to their campuses with an Orientation Day. The GPA wants to have a presence on the campus for this event.
February: Abstinence Appreciation/Pledge Ceremony Day
GPA Clubs use Valentine’s Day as a backdrop for promoting
appreciation of abstinence in their school and communities
throughout Louisiana. Many clubs hold abstinence pledge or ring ceremonies at this time of year.
